Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how MormonImages.com (“the Site,” “we,” or “us”) handles information about visitors. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to browse the Site. The information collected during a visit falls into two categories:

  • Automatically collected technical data. When you load a page, our hosting provider may record standard request data such as your IP address, user agent, referring page, requested URL, and timestamp. This information is used to operate the Site, diagnose problems, and protect against abuse.
  • Analytics and usage data. Aggregate usage information (such as which pages are viewed and approximate location derived from IP) is collected via Google Analytics, as described below.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site and its third-party providers may set cookies, local storage entries, or similar identifiers in your browser. These are used for purposes such as remembering your theme preference, measuring site usage, and operating embedded services. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some features behave.

3. Third-Party Services

To deliver the Site efficiently and reliably, we rely on remotely-hosted third-party services, libraries, and content delivery networks. When your browser loads pages from this Site, it may also make requests directly to these third parties. As a technical consequence of those requests, the third parties receive your IP address, user agent, the referring URL, and other standard request metadata. These services include, but are not limited to:

  • Google Fonts — web font delivery. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic and usage analytics. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect data including pages viewed, session duration, device type, and approximate geographic location. We use this data to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. See policies.google.com/privacy and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout for opt-out options.
  • Bootstrap CDN (jsDelivr) and Bootstrap Icons — CSS, JavaScript, and icon assets served via public content delivery networks. See jsdelivr.com/terms/privacy-policy-jsdelivr-net.
  • Other remotely-hosted libraries and services. The Site may load additional third-party scripts, stylesheets, fonts, icons, embeds, or APIs from public CDNs and service providers. Each such provider operates under its own privacy policy.

We do not control the data practices of these third parties and are not responsible for their policies. Use of these services is governed by the applicable provider's terms and privacy policy.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Understand which pages and images are most useful to visitors;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or technical issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party service providers described above strictly to deliver their respective services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Site, its users, or others.

6. Data Retention

Server logs and analytics data are retained for the periods set by our hosting provider and Google Analytics, respectively. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Use browser settings to block or delete cookies;
  • Use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics;
  • Use “Do Not Track” or similar privacy controls supplied by your browser;
  • Depending on your jurisdiction, request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the information below to make such a request.

9. International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States, and the third-party services described above may transfer and process data internationally. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
